# Talk to add knowledge

## What it is

Owner **voice knowledge**: speak naturally on the web console (or invite-only iOS Voice tab), polish the transcript into an article, preview, then save into Knowledge. Usage is metered on your plan. This is not the same as visitors talking to the public Twin.

## What it’s for

Capturing what you would say out loud after a meeting — ramble the story, let polish clean it up, then save. Useful on mobile when typing a full FAQ is impractical.

## How to use it

1. On web: open **Talk to add knowledge** ([https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/knowledge/voice](https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/knowledge/voice)). On iOS companion: use the **Voice** tab.
2. Record — ramble is fine; cover the facts you want the Twin to know.
3. Run **polish** so the transcript becomes a clear knowledge article.
4. **Preview**, edit anything wrong, then **save**.
5. Ask the public Twin the same topic in a private window to confirm.

## Tips / pitfalls

- Flow is **ramble → polish → preview → save** — do not skip preview.
- Visitor **speak-to-chat** on the public Twin is **not live** yet; do not promise it in demos.
- Mobile works well for capture; heavy editing can still finish on the web.
- Keep sessions focused; one topic per recording retrieves more cleanly.
