# Preparing Content

## What to prepare before you publish

You do not need a perfect library on day one. Most owners start with:

- A short **intro** (about 100 characters) on Profile
- A **link-sharing blurb** (~300 characters) for social previews
- One or two **documents**: FAQ, bio, resume, or talk notes
- **Example questions** (0–3) that appear in the chat box

## File tips

- PDF and DOCX upload directly — no need to convert everything to plain text first
- Markdown and HTML work well for structured FAQs
- Keep sensitive material out until you are ready; use **private knowledge** for invite-only content

- Your LinkedIn PDF export can be uploaded as a starting bio
