# Media library

## What it is

The **Media library** on Knowledge holds images, slide decks, video files, and YouTube links so the Twin can **show** them in answers (or fall back to a link). Uploaded video is found from the title and description you add until full transcription ships.

## What it’s for

When a verbal answer is not enough — show a deck slide, an infographic, or a short explainer video inside chat so visitors see the artifact, not only a URL.

## How to use it

1. Open **Knowledge** ([https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/knowledge](https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/knowledge)) and open **Media library**.
2. Upload images, decks, or video, or paste a YouTube URL.
3. Add a clear **title** and **description** (especially for video files — that is how they are retrieved today).
4. Optionally mention the asset in a Quick Add or doc so the Twin knows when to surface it.
5. Ask the public Twin a question that should pull the media and confirm it embeds.

## Tips / pitfalls

- Title/description quality matters more than file size for retrieval.
- Prefer images, YouTube, and hosted video for in-chat display; other URLs may only share as links.
- Keep decks scoped — one clear visual per answer beats a 40-slide dump.
- Private media still follows your privacy rules; mark related docs private when needed.
