# Email ingest

## What it is

Forward email from your own account to your Twin’s unique ingest address. Messages land in a **review queue** in the console before indexing. This is how *you* add content by email — not how the Twin emails your audience.

## What it’s for

Capture a thread, newsletter you wrote, or meeting summary later without leaving your inbox. Forward now, review and approve in the console when you have time.

## How to use it

1. Open **Knowledge** ([https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/knowledge](https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/knowledge)) and copy your Twin’s ingest address.
2. From your email account, forward the message to that unique address.
3. Later, open the console review queue, read the draft, and edit if needed.
4. Approve items you want indexed; discard noise.
5. Test with a question on `https://hi.speak-to.ai/your-name`.

## Tips / pitfalls

- Always review before indexing — forwarded mail can include signatures, threads, and private asides.
- Use one Twin address per Twin; do not share the ingest address publicly.
- This is not outbound marketing from the Twin.
